Force Multipliers to supercharge my Two-Step Breathing Technique
Now that you can easily and naturally release your jaw as you slowdown your exhale comfortably, you are ready for the force multipliers to supercharge this effective breathing technique, with Erika Flint’s Two Breath Technique.
1) Relaxation Scale: Make a note of where you are on your personal relaxation scale, between 1-10.
2) Color: Choose a color that represents peace and tranquility, or joy and delight (any inspirational shift you are seeking) and make note of it.
3) Color: Choose a different color that represents stress, tension, and everything you no longer want; and make note of it.
4) Breathe: Close your eyes and with a relaxed jaw take in a nice deep breath all the way to the tips of your toes. As you do this imagine that you are inhaling in the color of peace and tranquility, joy and delight; then as slowly as possible, completely exhale out the color of stress and tension.
5) Repeat: Repeat a second time by taking in a nice deep breath all the way to the tips of your toes. As you do imagine that you are inhaling in the color of peace, tranquility, joy, and delight. Then, very slowly exhale out the color of stress and tension.
6) Relaxation Scale: Make note of where you are now on your personal Relaxation Scale again.
