Clean & Clear

“I am clean and clear.”

You are utterly unique and your journey to authenticity will mirror that truth.

Generically speaking, we all begin our healing journey in different ways. However, if you were to boil the differences into their most basic commonalities it could be said we begin by cleaning. Cleaning the slate. Cleaning our wounds. Cleaning the metaphorical clutter and dirt from our pasts.

Some liken this to cleaning out the closest, junk drawer, or garage of our life.

(Does anyone else hear Eminem’s Cleanin’ Out My Closet? *)

There are those that say healing is like an onion...

I passionately disagree and will hopefully have you proclaiming,

“we heal like flowers.”

We are ever blooming beings.

Each layer of growth and healing along our journey opens us up with purpose, exposing our authenticity. The beauty of our budding center is our very soul, ever protected and lovingly held by each new layer of unfolding petals.

If you heal like an onion, peeling away layers until there is nothing left, you only prepare for composting or cooking. …crying the whole time...

Become ever blooming and enjoy that each new layer of growth is opening you to your next.

In this way, it can get sweeter and sweeter as you go.

Recognizing I have very little responsibility for who other people make up in their own minds for me to be. All I can do is be as authentically myself as possible so as to make it easier and easier for others to see the me I truly am.

Other’s perceptions are a reflection of themselves they cannot be used as a mirror!

You can wash away any misperceptions of who you think you are. You can be clean of labels that never felt accurate, of masks worn to be accepted. You can correct any lie told about who you are and are not, just to fit in

Every day can be a new beginning. A clean slate. Clean wounds.

Clean and Clear...

What happens once we pull out all the junk from the junk drawer, or from the closet, or the garage?

We tend to create a bigger mess for ourselves.

We suddenly see clearly how much we truly have to deal with. When it is all crammed inside a drawer or a closet or collecting cobwebs in a cold dark corner of a garage, metaphorically speaking, it is easy to imagine it being ‘no big deal.’

Clarity can be messy in the very beginning.

Clarity can be blindingly overwhelming, at times.

Darkness to light. Lost to found. The clarity we seek can be very different than the clarity we eventually realize.

Clarity breeds clarity though, and the clearer we become the clearer we eventually are ~ about everything.

Sometimes, clarity comes hidden in the understanding that we have no clarity.

The first step of clarity is recognizing how dark and unknowing everything truly is.

Like a seed struggling to emerge from the dirt.

Does it even know why it struggles so desperately?

Is it an inner knowing, an inner drive, its origin-given destiny?

Can it possibly realize the bounty that will or will not burst from its future growth, while still struggling beneath the dirt, in its darkest time of greatest determination?

How do I know the little seed is the most determined at this point?

Because, it keeps going. It keeps growing. It knows the struggle is somehow worth it, deep down. Like an inner knowing. A personal clarity it was born protecting. Despite the difficulty being the darkest and most pressure-filled of its life.

If you are ready to grow out of your personal darkness and explore the unlimited YOUniversal potential you were born to expand, I am here for you.
